GSPARX is a wholly owned subsidiary of TNB that focuses on green retail generation business. At the moment, we provide end-to-end solution from design, supply, install, testing and commissioning of rooftop solar PV solution for all customer segments from residential to commercial, industrial and government sectors.
Under ideal condition, the solar PV system can reduce up to 90% of your electricity bill subject to the solar capacity installed.

Our solar package includes the application of NEM. NEM is an incentive scheme introduced by the government that allows customers to install solar PV system on their roof and enable the energy generated from the solar to be used first. If there is an excess of energy generated by solar system, it will automatically flow to TNB grid where you can offset your electricity bill to further reduce your bill.
Yes. The NEM scheme comes with quota which is manage by the Sustainable Energy Development Authority (SEDA). The current NEM 3.0 offer will expire on 31st December 2023 and the quota availability is based on first come first serve basis. We will schedule a site assessment to your house to study the roof structure of your house. If your roof is not feasible to install solar PV system, we will proceed to refund the deposit to you.
The energy generated by the solar PV system varies based on the weather, system capacity and surrounding factors such as shading. In Malaysia, we normally use an average of 3.5 peak sun hour to calculate the energy generated by the solar PV system.
Not at the moment because of the high cost of battery, making it not commercially viable to install solar PV with battery. We are closely monitoring the price and as a GSPARX customer, you will be among the first group to own the battery when it is commercially viable. Moreover, with NEM, you can sell excess energy to TNB and be paid at the same rate as you buy from TNB (NEM Rakyat), TNB becomes your ‘battery’ and you save the investment on the storage unit.
